Overall of November and December

We have been looking at a new assignment by working on hard news and soft news,each articles target was a 1000 words and my hard news was about drugs being used in the UK and the soft news article was about special guest hosts presenting the wwe show monday night raw. Over the past few weeks the work has shown the differences between hard news and soft news, hard news is looking at major issues that mainly reflect onnegative issues and soft news articles refer to news that is minor, basically it refers to news that is gossip and would interest people more with celebrities. ithink that both articles target wasn't to be a thousand words because both topics information was limited but the sources however to gain information was quite easy,although the soft news articles sources were really easy to find. The hard news was more difficult to find because drugs being a tough subject, getting the specific information about drugs and how it affects people was hard to explain and persuade because it was to try and make people understand more about drugs and who gets involved in them. the soft news article was more easier because it was sports related content that people would enjoy looking at sports such as wrestling, as physical contact is looked at more than any other sports. I think that improvements that I need to make would probably be making them both a bit more longer with more information because they both do not meet the target of a thousand words but the information is pretty useful and can interest people and alert them about what is actually going on
